PUSHING THROUGH

I think we all must have had times and moments when we had a lot on our minds and projects on our tables, yet we feel blank in our brains. Lol.

We wanted to do all these and that within a time frame and we don't even know from where to start. Then, we resorted into pending it all to take a nap or deep sleep with "I can't kill myself" kind of feeling🧐.

The fact is, you are not alone on this. Of a truth, today is one of such days for me.

It's good to have ideas. It's great to have tasks and projects. Of course, meeting deadlines is a great thing. But you see, don't be too tensed. The pressure is coming from no where else but from you.

I understand it's the beginning of a new year and the morale is still high to keep to our schedules, goals and resolutions for the year. Yet, to achieve all you might have on your papers, you need to take a step per time.

One thing that helps is have a "to-do list" for each day. Have your tasks broken down into crumbs, then get a good companion while carrying out these tasks. One thing I realized lately is, that project isn't as burdensome as you think. You don't need to worry about taking the first step that people tag 'big'. In fact, the idea of the 'big step' scares me.

You don't need to have the whole energy/vibe to start. Just start by taking that small step in actualizing that task. The small step could mean speaking to that friend, revisiting the list, strategizing, and all of that. Taking a step per time in the right direction.

What do I mean by a companion?

It might be a drink, good music that you can vibe to, your favourite snack or a great movie. It really helps you carry on for a long time rather than keeping that straight face. You''d soon get tired or pissed.

Then, it's perfectly okay to pend it all to rest and continue from wherever. You are surprised, right?🤗

You'd be revitalised and energised on waking up and it's fine for your mental health.

Let me leave you with this "If you want to conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment, live in the breath"- Amit Ray.

With ❤️ and everything nice.
